Administrative Assistant
NSB Omega is searching for an Administrative Assistant for our BIG Oil & Gas Client in Norman Wells, NWT. The candidate would need to be a resident of Norman Wells, NWT. Possibility for part time hours (30-40 hours per week)
Assignment Description
• General admin support (photo copying, laminating, shredding)
• Mailroom duties (sending /receiving documents/supplies by mail/post or courier /charter etc.)
• Materials and supplies ordering and coordination / stocking
o Office furniture
o Ergo equipment
o Stationary room
o Trinket room verification
• Emergency response support- room organization and supporting ERT members as necessary
• Event coordination
• Ergo assessment contact
• Printer / copier support
• Other onsite IT support
• Hiring support (internet posting, setting interviews, etc.)
• Community events support (coordination)
• Confidential records management and filing / file room SME
• JIC administrative support (minutes of meeting, etc.)
• Supporting overall Leadership with administrative needs.
Qualifications Required
- Microsoft Office knowledge
- Prior Experience in an office environment
- Minimal 2 years administrative experience ( 2 – 10 years)
- Valid driver’s license to get to and from work.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Efficient in MS Office Programs (Work, Excel, PowerPoint) Please ensure testing is completed prior to submittals.
- Post secondary or high school diploma
- Must currently reside in Norman Wells, NWT
